An alternative to Max/MSP’s hi object, 2010-2011 by Max Egger
hi.tools lets you communicate with human interface devices (HID), like mice, joysticks or do-it-yourself usb thingies that follow the HID specification.

Requirements
- Max 5 or later (not sure about the exact version, but uses the SQLite C API)
- MacOS X 10.5 or later
